When selecting fruit to juice, choose pieces that are almost but not quite ripe, as these tend to yield the maximum amount of juice and the best taste from your juicer.
Avoid juicing fruits that are overripe or too soft as these generally do not pass well through the juicer.
Get into the habit of always washing your juicer immediately after use, when it is much easier to clean.
To get the most out of citrus fruits, extract the juice using a citrus press rather than a juicer.
While all fruit and veggie must be washed well before use, avoid soaking them as this can weaken their nutrient content.
If you peel your fruit or vegetables, do it as finely as possible so as to preserve as many of the vital nutrients as you can.
To prevent juices from going even slightly brown ( that is oxidizing and damaging their nutrient content), drink them immediately or pour them into a jug containing a squeeze of lemon juice or a spoon of vitamin C powder.
