This recipe comes from a lady 90 yrs. young





List of Ingredients



• 1c. corn meal
  
• 2 eggs
  
• 1/2c. kernel corn
  
• 1/2t. soda
  
• 1 medium onion, chopped
  
• 1c. buttermilk
  
• 1/2c. oil or bacon drippings
  
• 1/2c. grated cheese
  
• 2 jalapeno peppers
  






Instructions



1. Mix all ingredients, except cheese. Pour half of batter in heated, greased skillet.
   
2. Sprinkle cheese over mixture and pour rest of batter in. Bake in 400 oven until brown.
