List of Ingredients



• 1c. cornmeal
  
• 1/2c. flour
  
• 1T. sugar
  
• 1 large egg
  
• 1/2c. beer or milk
  
• 1/2c. dried onion
  
• 1/2c. chopped green bell pepper
  
• 1 jalapeno pepper, chopped
  
• vegetable oil
  






Instructions



1. Combine first 3 ingredients in a large bowl and make a well in the center.
   
2. Combine egg and next 4 ingredients, stirring well. Add to dry ingredients, stirring just to moistened.
   
3. Pour oil in pot. Drop batter by rounded tablespoonfuls.
