    Best Fruit Cocktail Cake

    List of Ingredients


    • 1 yellow cake mix
    • 1 sm. box vanilla instant pudding
    • 1 can fruit cocktail with syrup
    • 3/4c. coconut
    • 3 large eggs
    • 1/4c. oil
    • 1/2 c. light brown sugar
    • 1/2 c. chopped nuts
    • Glaze:
    • 1/2c. butter
    • 1/2c. sugar
    • 1/2c. evaporated milk
    • 1c. coconut
    • 8oz. whipped topping


    Instructions


    1. Preheat oven to 350. In a large bowl, mix together cake mix, pudding mix, fruit cocktail with syrup, coconut, eggs, and oil.
    2. Beat with electric mixer for 3-5 mins. Pour into greased 9x13 pan.
    3. Sprinkle brown sugar and nuts over batter. Bake 30-35 mins. Cool for 15 mins.
    4. In small saucepan, combine butter, sugar and evaporated milk.
    5. Boil 2 mins. Stir in coconut, then pour over cake.
    6. Serve warm or cool with whipped topping.
