This recipe comes from a lady 92 yrs. young





List of Ingredients



• 2 sticks butter
  
• 2/3c. sugar
  
• 1 egg
  
• 1t. baking powder
  
• 1t. vanilla
  
• 1/2t. baking powder
  
• dash of salt
  






Instructions



1. Cream butter, sugar, egg, and vanilla. Mix well until creamy. Sift flour, baking powder, and salt; add mix with first ingredients.
   
2. Roll mix on floured board to about 1/4 inch thick. Cut in own designs and bake on a greased cookie sheet.
   
3. Bake at 350 for 7-10 mins. Be sure to watch and remove from oven. Cool and decorate if desired.
