    Rocky Road Nut Cake

    Cake
    1½ C Flour
    1¾ C Sugar
    1/2 tsp Salt
    4 Eggs--unbeaten
    1 tsp Vanilla
    1 C Nuts--chopped
    1 C Butter melted
    4 C Miniature marshmallows


    Sift together flour, sugar, salt. Add eggs and vanilla. Stir in chopped nuts. Fold in butter. Mix well.
    Turn into 9x13" pan that has been greased and floured. Bake 350° for 35-40 minutes.
    Sprinkle immediately after removing from oven the marshmallows over the top. Drizzle with icing.

    Icing

    1 C Brown sugar--packed
    1/3 C Milk
    1/4 C Butter
    1/4 tsp Salt
    1 C Sifted powdered sugar


    Combine in small pan brown sugar, milk, butter and salt. Bring to a boil; boil 3 minutes. Add sifted powdered sugar and beat well.
