RECIPE INGREDIENTS



1 cake mix, yellow or white



3 eggs



1/2 vegetable oil



1 c water



1 small pkg vanilla pudding mix



milk for pudding



1 8 oz. container of cool whip topping,softened



1 16 oz. container of frozen sweetened strawberries



Recipe



Thaw strawberries a few hours before you plan on serving the cake. Prepare the cake mix with the eggs, oil, and water according to directions and bake. Mix the vanilla pudding with milk according to directions, leave slightly runny. When cake is cooled, take a wooden spoon and poke holes in the cake using the handle. The more holes you poke, the better the pudding will saturate it. Pour the pudding in the holes and on top of the cake. Top with the cool whip and refrigerate until ready to serve. After placing the cake on the individual serving plates, top with the thawed strawberries, the juice and the berries will give it lots of color and look very pretty. This cake is delicious, very easy to make and looks pleasing to the eye. You can change the cake mix, the cool whip and puddings to put your own twist on it. It can also be made diet by using the sugar free cool whip and pudding, just top it off with fresh sliced berries.
