    Worth its weight in flavor!

    List of Ingredients

    • 1lb. lean ground beef
    • 1 med. onion, chopped
    • 2c. sliced celery
    • 1/2c. chopped green bell peppers
    • 1/2t. garlic salt
    • 1 3/4c. or 1(15oz) can undrained kidney beans
    • 4c. or 2(16oz) cans undrained tomatoes
    • 1/2 to 1t. chili powder
    • 1 bay leaf


    1. Brown the ground beef and onion in a Dutch oven. Drain.
    2. Add remaining ingredients. Simmer, covered, for 1 to 2 hours.
    3. Remove bay leaf. Serve hot. Freezes well.
    4. Makes: 8 servings.
