    Peanut Butter Candy Bar Cake

    List of Ingredients


    • 1/2c. butter
    • 1/4c. whipping (heavy) cream
    • 1c. packed brown sugar
    • 1/2c. peanuts, coarsley chopped
    • 1 pkg. devils food cake mix
    • 7.2oz. fluffy white frosting mix
    • 4 bars(2.07oz. ea.) chocolate covered peanut, caramel and nouget candy, coarsely chopped


    Instructions


    1. Heat oven to 325. Mix butter, whipping cream and brown sugar in 1 1/2 qt. saucepan.
    2. Cook over low heat, stirring occasionally just until butter is melted.
    3. Pour into 2 ungreased round pans, 9x1 1/2 inch. Sprinkle evenly with peanuts.Prepare cake mix batter as directed on pkg. Carefully spoon batter over peanuts.
    4. Bake 35-45 minutes or until test done. Cool 5 minutes. Turn pans upside down onto wire racks to remove cakes.
    5. Cool completely. Prepare frosting mix as directed on pkg. Fold in candy.
    6. Place 1 cake layer, peanut side up, on serving platter. Spread with half of the frosting.
    7. Top with second cake layer. Spread with remaining frosting mixture.
    8. Cover and refrigerate at least 2 hours. but no longer than 24 hours.
