- 1/2 med. onion, sliced
- 1/2 med. green pepper, sliced
- 2T. butter
- 1 (10 1/2oz) can condensed tomato rice soup
- 1/3 to 1/2 c. water
- 1/8t. whole thyme
- 6 cooked hamburgers
Instructions
- For sauce, cook onion and green pepper in butter until tender.
- Add soup, water, and thyme. Cook over low heat 10 mins. stirring often.
- Serve over sizzling hamburgers.
- Makes about 1 2/3 c. sauce
