- 1/4c. red wine vinegar
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/2t. salt
- dash of pepper
- 1/4t. dried basil, oregano, or mixed Italian herbs
- 3/4c. olive oil
Instructions
- Whisk together vinegar, garlic, salt, pepper, and herbs.
- Gradually whisk in oil. Taste and adjust seasoning.
- Makes about 1 cup. Use to baste meat during the last 10-15 minutes. of broiling or bbq.
- Keeps well in the fridge. Excellent on beef, pork, chicken.
- Yields: 1 3/4 c.
