    Deep Fried Mashed Potatoes

    List of Ingredients


    • 2c. mashed potatoes
    • salt and pepper to taste
    • cheese, any type (optional)
    • Batter:
    • 1/2c. flour
    • 1 egg
    • 1t. salt
    • 1/2c. milk
    • oil for deep frying


    Instructions


    1. Make mashed potatoes into golf ball or small balls. Add cheese, as per taste.
    2. Freeze for 2 hours or more. Mix together the flour, egg, salt to make the batter.
    3. Gently dip mashed potato balls into batter, being careful that all exposed potato is coated.
    4. Deep fry in hot oil until golden.
