    Party Pepperoni Pizza Dip**

    All the flavors of your favorite pizza combine in this delicious dip that's perfect for a New Year's celebration. Your guests will make a resolution to have this dip at their next party, too!

    1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
    1/2 cup pizza sauce
    1/2 package (3.5 ounces) sliced pepperoni (about 25 slices)
    1/3 cup diced Italian plum tomatoes (about 2)
    1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
    1/4 cup chopped fresh basil
    Italian bread slices or crackers, for dipping

    Prep Time: 10 minutes
    Baking Time: 6 to 8 minutes
    Serves 12



    Directions
    1. Preheat the oven to 400F. Whisk the cream cheese and pizza sauce in a large bowl until smooth. Spread on the bottom of a 9-inch pie plate.

    2. Cut the pepperoni slices into quarters. Sprinkle the pepperoni and tomatoes over the cream cheese mixture. Top with the mozzarella.

    3. Bake the dip until the cheese is melted, 6 to 8 minutes. Sprinkle the chopped basil over dip. Serve warm with Italian bread slices or crackers.

    *To quickly soften cream cheese, remove it from the wrapper and microwave on HIGH for 20 to 40 seconds.

    *You can make this appetizer a day in advance. Assemble the ingredients as directed, cover and chill overnight, then bake just before the party.
