    List of Ingredients


    • 4 lb. spareribs, cut in narrow strips
    • 1c. clear French dressing
    • 1/2c. finely chopped onion
    • 1/2c. chili sauce
    • 2T. brown sugar
    • 2-3T. lemon juice
    • 2T. Worcestershire sauce
    • cooked or canned small whole onions


    Instructions


    1. Rub ribs with salt and pepper and place in shallow baking dish.
    2. Combine the next 6 ingredients for marinade and pour over ribs, coating all.
    3. Let stand for 2 hours at room temp. or overnight in the refrigerator, spooning the marinade over occasionally. Drain.
    4. Reserve marinade. Lace ribs on spit in accordion style, threading onions on as you weave in and out.
    5. Rotate over coals for 45 mins. to 1 hour or until done, brushing frequently with marinade.
    6. Makes: 4 servings.
