    Easy Orange Grilled Chicken

    Source of Recipe

    everyday cooking

    1/2 cup orange juice

    1/3 cup lime juice

    1/3 cup vegetable oil

    2 tablespoons honey

    1 clove garlic, finely chopped

    1/4 teaspoon black pepper

4 whole chicken legs (about 2 1/2 pounds),
    halved (see Tip, below)

    1/2 teaspoon salt

    2 navel oranges

    Prep Time: 20 minutes
    Marinating Time: 1 hour
    Grilling Time: 25-35 minutes
    Serves 4

    Directions
    1. In a large bowl or large resealable plastic bag, combine orange and lime juices, oil, honey, garlic and pepper. Add the chicken pieces and let stand in the refrigerator at least 1 hour or overnight.
    2. Prepare the grill for medium heat, placing rack about 4 inches from the coals. Remove the chicken from the marinade; discard liquid. Sprinkle salt on both sides of the chicken pieces. Grill, turning occasionally with tongs, until golden brown and cooked through, 25-35 minutes.

    3. Meanwhile, using a small sharp knife, peel the oranges, cutting through the peel, the pith and the outer membrane of the orange segments. Separate the segments by cutting between the membrane and the fruit.

    4. Place the chicken on a platter. Garnish with the orange segments.
