Jalapeno Cheeseburgers

List of Ingredients



• 3 lb. ground beef
  
• 2T. chopped Jalapeno peppers
  
• 1 1/2T. chili powder
  
• 3/4c. shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  
• 12 tomato slices
  
• 12 hamburger buns, split & lightly toasted on grill
  






Instructions



1. In medium bowl, combine ground beef, peppers, and chili powder, mixing lightly and thoroughly.
   
2. Shape into 12 1/2 inch patties. Place on grill over medium coals or heat.
   
3. Grill uncovered 14-16 mins. until no longer pink, turning once.
   
4. During last 1 minute of cooking sprinkle each pattie with 1T. of cheese.
   
5. Place on buns with a tomato slice.
   
6. Serves 10-12
