    Smoked Beef Brisket

    List of Ingredients


    • 4 lb. brisket
    • Marinade:
    • 1c. red wine vinegar
    • 1c. water
    • 1 sliced onion
    • 2 garlic, minced
    • 8 whole cloves
    • 6 parsley sprigs
    • 2 bay leaves
    • 2 stalks celery including leaves, chopped
    • 1T. gin
    • 1/2t. dried thyme, rosemary, and basil


    Instructions


    1. Marinade brisket in fridge for 48 hours. Turn every 6 hours.
    2. Remove 2 hours before smoking and let get to room temp.
    3. Smoke for 6-7 hours. Place marinade in water pan.
