    List of Ingredients


    • 2T. butter
    • 4T. flour, all purpose
    • 1c. milk
    • 2c. cooked ground beef, drained
    • 1/2t. each salt, paprika, chili powder
    • 1/4t. pepper
    • 1t. worcestershire sauce
    • 2t. soy sauce
    • 1t. finely chopped parsley
    • 1 egg
    • 2T. water
    • 1/2c. seasoned flour
    • 1 1/2c. fine bread crumbs
    • 1c. safflower oil


    Instructions


    1. Heat the butter in a sauce pan. Add the flour and cook over low heat for 2 minutes.
    2. Stir in the milk and simmer into a very thick sauce.
    3. Stirring constantly, stir in the beef, seasonings, worcestershire, soy sauce and parsley.
    4. Cool to room temperature. Shape into equal size patties.
    5. Blend the egg with the water. Dust each patty with flour, dip into the egg, then coat with bread crumbs.
    6. Heat the oil in a large skillet. Fry the patties to golden brown on each side. Serve.
