    Beef Patties with Cheese Sauce

    List of Ingredients


    • 1 1/2lb. ground beef
    • 1 small onion, chopped
    • 1t. salt
    • 1/4t. pepper
    • 1T. parsley
    • 2 eggs
    • Sauce:
    • 2T. butter
    • 2T. flour
    • 1c. milk
    • 1t. Dijon mustard
    • 1/2t. salt
    • 3/4c. Swiss or Cheddar cheese
    • 1 tomato chopped


    Instructions


    1. Mix all and shape into 4 patties. Place in baking dish. Bake at 400 for 20-25 mins. Prepare sauce.
    2. Sauce: Melt butter, add flour. Stir in milk. Stir until thick.
    3. Stir in mustard, cheese and salt, until cheese is melted. Add tomato.
    4. Pour over cooked meat. Top with cheese and a slice of tomato. Heat 3-5 mins.
