Basic Ham Glaze

Recipe Introduction


This spicy glaze gives a rich mahogany color and special flavor to baked ham.





List of Ingredients



• 1c. Karo light or dark corn syrup
  
• 1/2c. packed brown sugar
  
• 3T. prepared mustard
  
• 1/2t. ground ginger
  
• dash ground cloves
  






Instructions



1. In med. saucepan, combine corn syrup, brown sugar, mustard, ginger and cloves.
   
2. Stirring constantly, bring to boil over med. heat and boil 5 minutes.
   
3. Brush on ham frequently during last 30 mins. of baking.
   
4. Makes: about 1 cup
