    Recipe Introduction


    This may be split into two pans and frozen.


    List of Ingredients


    • 2 lb. frozen hash browns
    • 1/2c. chopped onion
    • 1/2c. butter
    • 1 pint sour cream
    • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
    • 1 can cream of chicken soup
    • 8 oz. shredded Cheddar cheese
    • 1t. salt
    • corn flake crumbs
    • Durkee fried onions
    • 1/4c. butter


    Instructions


    1. Melt butter in 9x13 inch pan. Add potatoes and onion. Sprinkle salt over all, then layer one at a time the soups, sour cream and cheese.
    2. Topping: Combine 1 c. corn flake crumbs, 1 can Durkee fried onions and 1/4c. melted butter.
    3. Sprinkle over casserole. Bake at 375 for 45 mins. Covered.
