Potato Casserole II

Recipe Introduction
This may be split into two pans and frozen.
List of Ingredients
- 2 lb. frozen hash browns
- 1/2c. chopped onion
- 1/2c. butter
- 1 pint sour cream
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 8 oz. shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1t. salt
- corn flake crumbs
- Durkee fried onions
- 1/4c. butter
Instructions
- Melt butter in 9x13 inch pan. Add potatoes and onion. Sprinkle salt over all, then layer one at a time the soups, sour cream and cheese.
- Topping: Combine 1 c. corn flake crumbs, 1 can Durkee fried onions and 1/4c. melted butter.
- Sprinkle over casserole. Bake at 375 for 45 mins. Covered.
