Halloween - Candy Bars

Recipe Introduction
A delicious bar recipe made from leftover Halloween candy bars.
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 large eggs
1 1/2 cups chopped leftover candy bars, divided (I used 1 3/4 cups of chopped candy bars)
1 Preheat oven to 350°.
2 Coat a 13x9-inch baking pan with a non-stick cooking spray.
3 In a small bowl, combine the flour, baking soda and salt; set aside.
4 In a large bowl, beat the butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla until creamy.
5 Beat in the eggs, then gradually blend in the flour mixture.
6 Stir in 1 cup (I used 1 1/4 cups) of chopped candy.
7 Spread the batter into the baking pan, and sprinkle with the remaining 1/2 cup chopped candy.
8 Bake for 25-30 minutes. I baked mine for exactly 25 minutes.
9 Note: I used fun-size candy bars.
10 Two each of: Milky Way, 3 Musketeers, Butter Fingers, Kit Kat, 100 Grand, plus 3 Fun-size plain M&M's.
11 A total of 1 3/4 cups.
