    List of Ingredients


    • 2c. raw rice
    • 1 pkg. onion soup mix
    • 2c. red wine
    • 2c. water
    • 1 large can mushrooms, with liquid
    • 2-3 lb. roast (chuck or shoulder)


    Instructions


    1. Place all ingredients except roast in baking pan. Place roast on top.
    2. Cover tightly with heavy duty foil. Bake at 325 for 2-3 hours. Add water if necessary.
    3. Serve with salad and garlic bread.
