Apple Cracker Pie

List of Ingredients



• 1 1/2c. sugar
  
• 1/4t. nutmeg
  
• 1 1/2 T. flour
  
• 1/3 stick butter
  
• 1/4t. cinnamon
  
• 1 1/2c. water
  
• 1 1/2t. cream of tartar
  
• 12 soda crackers
  






Instructions



1. Sift together all dry ingredients, then add 1 1/2c. water, bring to boil and let boil a minute.
   
2. Add 12 soda crackers, crumbled. Add 1/3 stick butter. Pour into pie shell (mixture will be thin and watery).
   
3. Cover with top crust and bake until done. Bake at 400 for approximately 40 minutes.
