    Crunchy Oatmeal Cookies

    List of Ingredients


    • 1c. shortening
    • 2c. brown sugar
    • 1 egg
    • 1t. vanilla
    • 2c. flour
    • 1 1/2c. oatmeal
    • 1c. coconut
    • 3/4c. chopped nuts


    Instructions


    1. Combine shortening and sugar. Add egg and vanilla.
    2. Sift flour with dry ingredients.
    3. Blend with creamed mixture. Add oatmeal, coconut, and nuts.
    4. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet.
    5. Bake 10-12 minutes at 350
