    Macadamia Nut Chiffon Cream Pie

    List of Ingredients

    • 1 qt. milk
    • 3oz. cornstarch
    • 1/2pt. egg whites
    • 1/2c. Macadamia nuts
    • whipped cream for trimming
    • 6oz. sugar
    • 3 whole eggs
    • 12oz. sugar
    • 2 deep baked pie shells


    1. Bring milk and 6oz. sugar to boil, then combine starch with whole eggs and little milk to make smooth paste, add to above milk mixture, stir with whip and cook until smooth.
    2. When cooked and thick, remove from fire and cool a little. Whip egg whites and add 12oz. sugar gradually, when stiff fold into cooked mixture, add ground nuts.
    3. Fill pie shells, cool in refrigerator. When ready to serve, top with whipped cream and few ground nuts.
