    1950's better homes and gardens cookbook

    List of Ingredients

    • 1 pound ground beef
    • 1 1/2 cups chopped onion
    • 1 1/2 cups chopped celery
    • 1t. salt
    • pepper
    • 1 can condensed tomato soup
    • 1 1/2 t. bottled barbecue sauce


    1. Brown meat in small amount of hot fat. Add onion and celery; cook till tender, but not brown.
    2. Add remaining ingredients. Cover. Simmer 30 minutes. Serve on toasted buns.
    3. Makes: 6 to 8 servings
