    Three-Cheese Pasta Bake

    Recipe Introduction


    Mostaccioli are large, 2 inch long macaroni tubes, with smooth or ridged surfaces, that are cut on a diagonal.


    List of Ingredients


    • 1 can Campbell's condensed Cheddar Cheese Soup
    • 3/4c. milk
    • 1/4t. pepper
    • 1c. shredded mozzarella cheese
    • 6c. cooked mostaccioli or ziti (about 3c. dry)
    • 2T. grated Parmesan cheese
    • 2T. dry bread crumbs
    • 1T. butter, melted
    • Fresh parsley sprig and tomato slices for garnish


    Instructions


    1. In large bowl, combine soup, milk and pepper. Stir in mozzarella cheese. Add mostaccioli; toss gently to coat. Spoon into 2 qt. oblong baking dish.
    2. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese over pasta mixture. In small bowl, combine bread crumbs and butter, sprinkle crumb mixture in rows over cheese.
    3. Bake at 375 for 35 mins. or until hot and bubbling. Garnish with parsley and tomato, if desired.
    4. Makes: about 6c. or 6 servings
    5. Prep time: 25 mins.
    6. Cook time: 35 mins.
    7. Prepare Three Cheese Pasta Bake as directed above, except in step 1, reduce shredded mozzarella cheese to 3/4c. and add 1/2c. shredded smoked Edam or smoked Gouda.
