    List of Ingredients


    • 1 lb. ground beef
    • 1/2 envelope (1/4c.) dry onion soup mix
    • 3/4c. cold water
    • 1 med. head lettuce, torn in bite size pieces (4c.)
    • 1 large tomato, cut in wedges
    • 1 small onion, thinly sliced and separated into rings
    • 1/4c. chopped green pepper
    • 1(6oz) pkg. corn chips
    • 1/2c. sliced ripe olives
    • 4oz. sharp cheddar cheese, shredded (1c)


    Instructions


    1. In skillet, brown beef. Sprinkle soup mix over meat; stir in water.
    2. Simmer, uncovered, for 10 mins. In salad bowl, combine lettuce, tomato, onion, green pepper, olives and cheese.
    3. Toss well. Place lettuce mixture on individual salad plates.
    4. Spoon on meat; top with corn chips.
    5. Serves: 4-6
