Recipe Introduction
This delectable sauce is pourable hot or cold. Serve over ice cream, fresh fruit or cream puffs.
List of Ingredients
- 3/4c. packed light brown sugar
- 1/2c. Karo light or dark corn syrup
- 2T. butter
- 1/2c. heavy or whipping cream
- 1t. vanilla
Instructions
- In 1 qt. saucepan, combine brown sugar, corn syrup and butter.
- Stirring frequently, bring to full boil over med. heat and boil 1 minute.
- Remove from heat; immediately stir in cream and vanilla. Cool. Store in refrigerator. Stir before serving.
- Makes: about 1 1/2 cups
