    Recipe Introduction


    This delectable sauce is pourable hot or cold. Serve over ice cream, fresh fruit or cream puffs.


    List of Ingredients


    • 3/4c. packed light brown sugar
    • 1/2c. Karo light or dark corn syrup
    • 2T. butter
    • 1/2c. heavy or whipping cream
    • 1t. vanilla


    Instructions


    1. In 1 qt. saucepan, combine brown sugar, corn syrup and butter.
    2. Stirring frequently, bring to full boil over med. heat and boil 1 minute.
    3. Remove from heat; immediately stir in cream and vanilla. Cool. Store in refrigerator. Stir before serving.
    4. Makes: about 1 1/2 cups
