Lemon Sauce

List of Ingredients
- 2t. cornstarch
- 1/4c. sugar
- 1 3/4c. boiling water
- 1/4c. lemon juice
- 1T. grated lemon rind
- 2T. butter
Instructions
- Blend the cornstarch with the sugar. Whisk into the boiling water, simmer until thick.
- Whip in the juice, and rind, simmer until the sauce thickens again.
- Remove from heat. Whip in the butter. Use hot or cold with fruit, sorbets, crepes, cakes, souffles.
- Yields:1 3/4 cup
