    Rotel Spicy Tomato Sauce

    List of Ingredients


    • 2 T. olive oil
    • 2 medium onions, chopped
    • 4 cloves garlic, minced
    • 1-10 oz. can Rotel
    • 1-28oz can crushed tomatoes
    • 1t. dried basil
    • 1t. dried oregano
    • 1T. sugar
    • salt and pepper to taste
    • 1/2c. white wine


    Instructions


    1. In a medium saucepan over medium-low heat cook onions and garlic in hot oil.
    2. Stir in remaining ingredients except wine.
    3. Heat to a boil, stirring occasionally.
    4. Reduce heat, cover and simmer 15 minutes. Stir in wine and simmer 5 more minutes.
