    Buttery Cooked Carrots

    List of Ingredients


    • 1 lb. baby carrots
    • 1/4c. butter
    • 1/3c. light brown sugar
    • 1/4t. salt


    Instructions


    1. Cook carrots in a large pot of boiling water 8 minutes or until tender. Drain off most of the liquid, leaving bottom of pan covered with water.
    2. Set the carrots aside. Stir butter, brown sugar, and salt into the water. Simmer and stir until the butter melts.
    3. Return carrots to the pot and toss to coat. Cover and let sit for a few minutes to allow flavors to mingle.
    4. Yield: 4 servings
