    • 1 1/4c. vinegar
    • 1/2c. cooking oil
    • 1/2c. sugar
    • 2t. salt
    • 10 Spanish onions, thinly sliced


    Instructions


    1. Combine first 4 ingredients in a saucepan and heat, stirring until sugar and salt are dissolved.
    2. Place onions in a large jar and pour in vinegar mixture.
    3. Refrigerate for several days, shaking jar occasionally.
