    List of Ingredients


    • 4 qts. popped popcorn
    • 1c. spanish peanuts
    • 4T. butter
    • 1c. brown sugar
    • 1/2c. corn syrup lite
    • 2T. molasses
    • 1/4t. salt


    Instructions


    1. Preheat oven to 250.
    2. Combine popcorn and peanuts in a metal bowl or on cookie sheet and place in oven.
    3. Combine all remaining ingredients in a saucepan. Stirring over medium heat bring to a boil.
    4. Using a cooking thermometer bring to hard boil stage. This will take about 20-25 minutes.
    5. Remove from oven and working very quickly pour caramel mixture in a fine stream over them.
    6. Then place back in oven for 15 minutes. Mix well every 5 minutes. Cool and store in covered container.
