Recipe Introduction


This is a favorite at get togethers with family and friends. I have froze in single serving sizes. Then reheat in microwave and spread on toasted piece of bread for snack.


1 lb Hamburger
1 lb Sausage (I use mild)
1 lb American cheese
1 tsp Oregano
1 tsp Garlic powder
1 tsp Ground cayenne pepper
1 loaf Cocktail rye bread

On medium heat brown hamburger and sausage. Drain grease. Add American cheese stirring until cheese is melted. Add oregano, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper. Mix well. Spread on cocktail rye bread. Toast in 350° preheated oven until brown. 10-15 minutes.
