    List of Ingredients


    • 5 lb. potatoes, peeled and diced
    • 1/2c. grated celery
    • 1/2c. grated carrots
    • salt and pepper to taste
    • butter
    • 1/4c. onion flakes
    • 1/4c. parsley flakes
    • milk


    Instructions


    1. Combine potatoes, celery, and carrots in a large pot. Add just enough water to keep it from sticking.
    2. Cook until tender. Add salt, pepper, butter, onion flakes, and parsley flakes.
    3. Let sit for about 5 minutes (so onion flakes can soften)
    4. Mash potatoes in the water and add milk until it reaches the thickness you desire.
    5. Serve with salad and hot, hard bread.
    6. Makes: 10-12 servings.
