    1. Put 3T. of hogback or bacon fat in a pan. Heat up until it comes to a real smoke.
    2. Dump in a can of cream-style corn. Add a handful of black pepper, a little bit of salt, and a bunch of sugar.
    3. Cook until most of the juice is out. There you have it. It will get your attention. Quite a dish, it gets you really on your feet.
