A very simple and interesting glaze for carrots.





List of Ingredients



• 1lb. fresh carrots, cleaned and cut into coins.
  
• 1T. butter
  
• 2T. maple syrup
  






Instructions



1. In a saucepan, cook carrots in rapidly boiling salted water until tender, drain.
   
2. Add butter and maple syrup.
   
3. Cook over med. heat until syrup is reduced by half.
   
4. Serve.
   
5. Serves 4
