    DEER, ANTELOPE, ELK, MOOSE, OR BEAR IS EXCELLENT PREPARED IN THIS SIMPLE FASHION. SERVE AS A MAIN COURSE, OR AS AN APPETIZER TO A WILD GAME DINNER.


    List of Ingredients


    • 1 TO 1 1/4LB. ROUND OR RUMP PIECES, 3/4 TO 1 INCH THICK.
    • 4-8 SLICES BACON


    Instructions


    1. START CHARCOAL BRIQUETS IN GRILL. CUT MEAT INTO 2 INCH WIDE STRIPS.
    2. WRAP ONE OR TWO SLICES BACON AROUND EACH STRIP.
    3. SECURE BACON WITH TOOTHPICKS.
    4. WHEN CHARCOAL BRIQUETS ARE COVER WITH ASH, SPREAD THEM IN GRILL.
    5. PLACE GRATE ABOVE HOT COALS.
    6. GRILL MEAT STRIPS TO DESIRED DONENESS, 4-7 MINS. PER SIDE.
    7. MAKES 2-4 SERVINGS.
