    List of Ingredients


    • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
    • 3/4 teaspoon salt
    • 1/2 teaspoon bakign soda
    • 1/2 cup butter
    • 1/2 cup shortening
    • 1 cup granulated sugar
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla
    • 1 egg
    • 2 tablespoons milk


    Instructions


    1. Heat oven to 350 degrees
    2. Sift dry ingredients together
    3. Cream butter, shortening, and sugar utnil light and fluffy
    4. Add egg and vanilla
    5. Beat in dry ingredients until smooth
    6. Blend in milk
    7. Drop by tablespoonful about 3 inches apart onto a greased cookie sheet
    8. Bake 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned
