Italian Chili

Grandmother
1 pound chorizo sausage or Italian if you want
1/2 pound pepperoni
1 med purple onion chopped
1 pound fresh mushrooms chopped
fresh garlic as much as you like!
2 tbs. olive oil
2 cans diced tomatoes (I like the herb & garlic flavored)
1 28oz. jar of YOUR favorite pasta sauce
2 cups chicken stock
1 cup water
2 tbs. oregano
1 tbs. crushed red pepper flakes
Cook sausage and pepperoni and drain off fat... set aside. In the
olive oil saute onion, mushrooms, and garlic till soft and mushrooms
are done. Add the remaining ingredients to pot with meat and bring to
boil, then reduce heat to a simmer and cook for at least 1 hour.
Serve with Parmesan cheese.
