    Shrimp Jambalaya

    2 onions, chopped
    1 green pepper, chopped
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1/4 cup butter
    2 cups shrimp, cleaned and peeled
    1 cup diced ham
    1/2 cup dry white wine
    2 15-oz. cans diced tomatoes
    1/2 tsp. dried thyme
    1/4 tsp. dried basil
    1/2 tsp. paprika
    Hot sauce to taste
    1 cup rice, uncooked

    Saute onions, green pepper and garlic with butter in a skillet for about 10 minutes. Add shrimp, ham, wine, tomatoes, thyme, basil, paprika and hot sauce and bring to a boil. Add rice and cover and simmer for about 25 minutes.
