    12 medium potatoes
    2 small onions, chopped
    2 cups celery, chopped
    2 tsp celery seed
    8 hard boiled eggs, diced
    Dressing
    2 eggs, well beaten
    3/4 cup sugar
    1 tsp cornstarch
    1/4 cup vinegar
    1/2 cup evaporated milk
    1 tsp prepared mustard
    3 tsp butter, softened
    1 cup mayonnaise

    Recipe



    1. Cook potatoes in their skins until soft.
    2. Cool, peel, and dice.
    3. Mix potatoes with remaining 5 ingredients, then add to dressing.
    Dressing directions
    Put the well-beaten eggs, sugar and cornstarch in a saucepan. Add the
    vinegar, evaporated milk, and mustard. Cook over medium heat until
    thickened, stirring constantly.
    Remove from heat and beat in the butter. Allow to cool.
    Add mayonnaise and mix until smooth. Add the cooled dressing to the
    potato mixture and fold together gently.
