    Wrap each raw, drained oyster with a strip of bacon. Secure with a toothpick. Roll in a mixture of cornmeal and flour (or, if you live Down South, use Zatarain's Fish Fry). Shake off excess. Deep-fry until bacon crisps a little, drain, and serve hot.
