    Shrimp in Cheddar Sauce

    1 pkg. Frozen peas and carrots (16oz.)
    1 1/4 lb. Frozen, peeled and devained shrimp
    1/2 c. Butter
    1/2 tsp. Paprika
    3 c. Milk
    3/4 c. Dry white wine
    2/3 c. Flour
    1/4 tsp. Pepper
    1/2 c. Chopped green onion
    2 c. Shredded sharp Cheddar
    1 pkg. Frozen pastry shells, pre-baked

    Rinse vegetables in hot water, set aside. Cook shrimp, drain and set aside. Melt butter, blend in flour, paprika and pepper. Stir in milk and green onion. Cook and stir until thick and bubbly. Cook and stir one minute more, add wine, shrimp, vegetables and cheese. Stir until cheese melts. Follow package instructions to heat pastry shells. When done, fill with mixture and serve.
