List of Ingredients




2 lbs blackberries, hulled
2 cups sugar
1/4 whole nutmeg
1/4 cup whole cloves
1/2 oz cinnamon stick
1-1/4 cups brandy

Recipe



Put blackberries into a food processor with a little sugar
Blend to a puree and seive
Put into a pan with the sugar and spices
Cover and simmer gently for 20 minutes
Cool slightly, then add the brandy
Bottle and set aside for at least one month

Note: Before drinking, it is advisable to strain prior to putting into glasses
