    2 Quarts cherries-rinse & leave on stems
    2 fifths vodka
    2 Cups sugar

    Put in large jar & keep in cool dark place for 3 months
    Strain through coffee filters.
    -Cheapest vodka works fine
    -Can halve the recipe
    -I age it on top basement shelf that doesn't get much light
    -Do not shake or disturb while aging
    -Good to serve over holidays
