6 or 7 pieces cubed bread
3 large eggs, beaten
1/2 pound bacon or ham, cooked and cut into small pieces or cubes
2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
2 cups milk
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 stick margarine, melted
Recipe
Layer cubed bread on bottom of greased 9x13-inch glass casserole dish. Combine beaten eggs, meat, shredded cheese, milk, dry mustard and salt. Pour over cubed bread. Top with melted margarine. Cover with foil and refrigerate overnight.
Bake covered at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Remove foil during last few moments to brown.
