    1-1/2 ounces gold tequila
    1 ounce applejack (apple brandy)
    1/2 ounce lemon juice
    1 teaspoon simple syrup or maple syrup
    Generous dash triple sec or curacao
    Lemon slice

    Mix all ingredients except lemon slice with cracked ice in a shaker or blender and strain into a chilled Old Fashioned glass. Garnish with lemon slice.
